My week 💜

As an ex hardcore people pleaser, I take it my responsibility to share how I plan to keep myself loved throughout my life, and when it gets closer to the day denoting my very own existence, I take it very very serious.

Pov: Celebrating your own birthday is not cringe. On the converse, I would say it's niche.
Actually start celebrating the birthday week.

I used to have a time in my life when I thought my birthday is dispassionate and unfortunate.
But God ,was I wrong.
Terribly, extensively, happily wrong.

The thought shifted when I stopped putting it on someone else, say my family and bestfriend to make my day great for me.

But as a woman with my own values, morale and conscience, I realise that it's totally dependent on me. How I choose to perceive that day, how I try understand the meaning of being Sethu parvathy CU,

Beguiling, Capricious and Emotional.

Getting to the point,
How do I plan to take care of my 22nd birthday,
Few more months to financial freedom,

1)Gifting myself a safety net, a small financial savings for contingencies was my first thought.

2)Along with that, preparing my body for a healthier future, with less that 30% of body fat - very important. No time limit, but with an estimate.
And the path is vivid.

3)Revisiting the forgotten world of books, I got myself a book prior to my birthday.

4) Writing a letter for myself about my worries, happiness and even my silly little thoughts

5) Taking a break from anything stressful, let it be college, social media, people or whatever.

6) Less sugar more protein birthday ( be innovative)

7) Do 22 pushups at a stretch.

8)A black bodycon

9) Mandatory Temple visit

10) Spending time with my people.

11) A piece of jewelry.

Some might think that I take it too seriously,
Yes and I'm proud of it, and I'm publishing this article to remind everyone that you don't have to wait for anyone to celebrate you. You are worthy of yourself and you deserve to be celebrated.
Once you understand your importance and respect yourself, others follow.

With 22 years of experience living daily, I can vouch for this. Celebrate your damn birthday.
