On Mental Health

I am all of my favourite movie characters
Men and women.
I am Yennefer from The Witcher
I could definitely be Nagavalli from Manichitrathazhu
I consider Arakkal Ayesha from Urumi to be my alter ego (I wish)
I want to be batman

And everyday, is me playing some melting music and imagining myself in their world.
Childish, maybe.
But if there's a sliver of creativity inside me, I'd attribute it to this little guilty pleasure that I always keep live inside of me.

So my point is to always have a passion towards something, even if doesn't make sense to anyone else.

It's vibrant.

Last day, we had a dialogue on "Mental health and Stress" for us students. There were a lot of ideas put forth by many ppl.
This itself is a reminder that we are aware of our emotions. This awareness helps us recognise patterns from the present or past,
Analyse them and take action.

Compared to the early times where people did not even have time to think about these things preoccupied with survival and social norms, now the awareness itself is a reason for the rise of a mental health sector.
In my opinion it's a good thing, it's a part of understanding one's self and the way we respond to things.
* Why do we get angry at specific things
* Why are we emotional over few incidents
* How does peace work in our environment
And so on.
This is different for each person as the personal experiences differ and the best means to let your "stress" out is communication.

Interpersonal relationships in today's world is a big question mark. With the advent of platforms like Instagram, twitter and bumble, the patterns in which humans interact itself is changed.
Judgements and preconceieved notions about someone is all the more regressive now. Yes, I may appear “unapproachable,” in my Instagram but that’s a byproduct of modelling — a field that demands expressions, aesthetics, and attitude. To be labelled as cold or distant without ever being approached is both harsh and ironic.

Worse still, many now fight through passive-aggressive Instagram stories or cryptic quotes rather than engage in honest conversation.
This, I believe, is a significant reason why many of us find it hard to maintain meaningful relationships today. We’ve lost the art of face-to-face vulnerability.

Maybe I'm wrong but I'm writing from real life personal experiences and to my limited thinking capacity this is a reason why we are concerned about having a true companion to confide into. The vague picture that ppl gets of us through social media.

And when AI came into the game, it's scary.
There are people that confide into Artificial intelligence for their mental struggles and struggles include
Oh no my head is hurting to serious issues like domestic abuse.

Another proven method is definitely physical activity.
Going to the gym, working out, playing games, dancing, jogging, singing and so on goes the list.
Why do they work?
Maybe they reconnect us to our bodies, to the tangible real world from the scary melancholic world of overthinking and despair.
