Nocturnal animals.
The 6.5 green eye in the dark,
Hiding inside the thorny bushes, it rot.
Completely oblivious of its stink
Now would it scare me?
Oh it does. The green-ness, the rot
The uncanny business of it's nose-
So damn dreadful.
A full night of crude dreams,
Unearthed a muddy doll from it.
My stealth.
My identity of the diamond,
Still radiant inside the muddy bits.
The dreadful cannot obstruct
The ascent of the relentless.
Yes still I rise.
I get to know the value of companionship
Of care, of love and of fam.
