On love
We are intertwined,
Like we are connected by a golden thread.
We preach love, we preach calm
And peace is what we live for.
My heart sings a melody or so,
A smile, a grin, a cheery eyebrow,
Anything is enough for me,
To sink in joy.
Us, just melting together.
No words spoken,
A game of the eyes
Language of the pair.
In the vast shadow of you
I rest, forgetting myself.
All my whims and fancies
My sorrows and melancholy
Floating in thin air.
