Delusion

For a writer, a fool is never the one who dreams too much — it’s the one who is too practical, too dull, too convinced that life must move in straight lines. Why would anyone believe that life is monotonous? For the most part, it’s not.

Especially when you’re a girl who is into art — or perhaps, into life itself. Colors seep into your thoughts, music seeps into your bones, and ordinary moments somehow find a way to glitter.

I must confess, I am delusional in many ways. I imagine stories where there are none, conversations that never happened, and worlds that may never exist. And yet, this “delusion” is not a flaw I wish to correct — it’s the very lens through which I see the world as full, fluid, and alive.

Because in the end, maybe being a little unrealistic is the only way to make life beautiful.
