Chocolate chip cookies

I’ve always had a soft corner for sweet things.
Be it people or food, there’s something about sweetness that makes me linger a little longer. And within that sugary world, I have a particular weakness for soft, melt-in-your-mouth kinds of sweet things—brownies, cake, a perfectly moist muffin.

If you offered me a plate of white chocolate ragi brownies, I’d probably abandon all thoughts about my “fitness goals” in seconds. Yes, I will happily sacrifice my physique for that one perfect bite.

But then, there’s a tricky category—the choco chip cookie.
Hard to bite into, not particularly remarkable in taste, yet strangely addictive. I find myself going back to them, again and again, even as I wonder why.

It reminds me of certain people… and certain attitudes I stubbornly hold on to. They’re not exactly good for me, not always easy to handle, but they carry something—maybe a memory, maybe a comfort—that makes me return.
