The Ideation

Imagine a space where thoughtful, motivated young minds come together to share perspectives on the world around us—where conversations spark understanding and ideas grow into change.
That’s the heart of what I proposed at the Think Tank Staff-Student Circle on Wednesday, 16th July 2025.

My vision is to create a Current Affairs Discussion Panel—a space where students from across disciplines can engage in meaningful dialogue about what’s happening globally and nationally.
With the support of professors as facilitators and the occasional insight from guest speakers, this platform could become a vibrant hub for civic awareness, political consciousness, and critical thinking.

For those of us preparing for competitive exams, it’s also a great way to build perspective, strengthen communication, and develop the confidence needed for interviews and public discussions.

But beyond all that, it’s about giving students a voice—a place to speak, listen, and grow together.

To bring this idea to life, I’m hoping to build a core team of students from diverse academic backgrounds, and I truly believe that with the encouragement of our professors, we can make something meaningful.

I’m incredibly grateful to Dr. Samuel Rufus for giving me the opportunity to share this idea, and to Prof. Joshua Solomon for his kind offer to guide the panel as a facilitator. A heartfelt thanks also to Prof. Adarsh Vijay for his supportive and encouraging words.

I’m hopeful—and excited—about where this could go. With the right minds and the right spirit, I believe we can turn this into something truly impactful.
