A full heart, forever 21

Maybe one day I would learn the right way

There is a right way,

Perhaps I thought I knew it all

But next to me is this neon shoe person 

Redefining everything that I've ever known.

The art of noticing,

The most significant part of human relations 

That I realised just now,

To see someone get soo excited about my birthday,

Get me everything that I've ever wished for.

It changes something,

The very meaning of me, shifted.

Today is my 21 st birthday 

And every bit of me is at 

an extremity of ecstasy 

Me, totally unable to hide it, 

Getting high on life itself.

Ice cream and beach,

A broken clutch and a selfless air cooler 

A white heart pendant on a chain

Piink, white and red roses,

Golden warm lights

A coffee stained letter, all my favourite chocolates

Sweets (special mentions to the carrot halwa)

Memories preserved in a frame, love

And lots of tears, 

tears out of happiness and regret.

And many many more.

I've never had someone celebrate me 

Like this, 

Obviously the best day of my entire life,

If time froze this moment,

I'd be Forever 21 and happy.
